Privacy policy
This covers themarketingblock.com and the free AI visibility check at /scan/. It says what actually happens, not what a template says usually happens.
- There is no third-party analytics on this site. No Google Analytics, no advertising pixels, no session recording.
- We keep our own count of page views and a handful of button presses. It records the page and the action, never who you are, and it is switched off for you if your browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control.
- Our own code sets no cookies and stores nothing in your browser.
- The AI visibility check logs the address you enter, the score and the time, so Mike can see which businesses have run one. Nothing about you goes with it.
- We do not sell, rent or share your personal information, and we do not use it to train AI models.
- One thing involves an outside company: the booking calendar, named below. The fonts are served from our own site.
Who we are
The Marketing Block is a one-person marketing business run by Michael Onuigbo from Tampa Bay, Florida. When this policy says "we", that is who it means. There is no team, no data department and no third party running things behind the scenes.

This policy covers this website only. Other sites owned by the same person, including fulltimefrontdesk.com and tradebrandpro.com, have their own policies.

What we collect, and when
Nothing on this site asks for personal information unless you choose to give it. Here is every case where anything is collected at all.
When you just read a page
The page sends one anonymous tick to our own server when it loads, and another if you press a call, email or booking link. Each tick carries the name of the action and the page you were on, and nothing else: no cookie, no identifier, and the address it arrived from is not stored. It exists so we can see which pages people read and where they stop, and it is switched off entirely if your browser sends a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal. Separately, our host, Cloudflare, processes your IP address, browser type and the page you asked for in order to deliver the site and block attacks, and may set a strictly necessary security cookie such as __cf_bm to tell humans from bots. We cannot read a visitor list from that and we do not build one.
When you run the AI visibility check
The website address you type is sent to our own endpoint, which fetches that page along with its robots.txt, sitemap.xml and llms.txt, then returns the findings to your browser. The report is held in a 15 minute cache keyed by that address so a repeat check does not refetch the site. It is not linked to you and not reviewed by a person unless you send it to us. We also keep a plain log of the addresses checked, with the score and the time and nothing else, so Mike can see which businesses have run one. It holds no IP address and nothing about you. The check sends the same kind of anonymous tick as any other button: one when it starts, one when it finishes, and one if you open the rest of the report.
When you send the findings to Mike
At the end of the check you can pass your name, email and optional phone over. Right now that button opens your own email app with the details filled in, addressed to Mike, so nothing reaches us unless you press send yourself. What you send arrives in our Google Workspace inbox and is kept as an ordinary business email. We are about to switch this to a direct submission that goes into GoHighLevel, our CRM. See Changes at the foot of this page.
When you book a call
The calendar on our contact, booking and chiropractic (/chiropractor/) pages is an embedded widget from GoHighLevel, served from link.themarketingblock.com. Booking a time gives them and us your name, email, phone number, time zone and anything you type into the booking form. That widget is a third party inside a frame and sets its own cookies. Its behaviour is governed by GoHighLevel's privacy policy as well as this one.
When you call, text or email
We keep what you send us, for the ordinary reason that we need it to reply and to keep a record of work discussed. Calls and texts to (727) 800-1719 go to a normal phone. Email goes to Google Workspace.
The form on the contact page
The message form on our contact page has its submit button deliberately switched off, because there is no handler behind it yet. It sends nothing anywhere. We would rather show that plainly than take a message that quietly goes nowhere.
The AI visibility check, in detail
/scan/The check is the only part of this site that does anything active, so it is worth being specific about it.
- What it fetches. The address you enter, plus that site's robots.txt, sitemap.xml and llms.txt. Nothing else, and it does not crawl beyond those.
- What the scanned site sees. A request from a Cloudflare address identifying itself as MarketingBlockAudit/1.0 with a link back to this page. We announce ourselves on purpose so any site owner can see who fetched them and why.
- What we keep. The report is cached for 15 minutes against the address you entered, so checking the same site twice does not fetch it twice. After that it is gone, and there is no record tying a check to you. We also log the address checked, its score and the time, so Mike can see which businesses have run one. That log holds no IP address and nothing about you, and it is cleared after 12 months.
- What it refuses. Addresses that point at private or internal networks are rejected, so the tool cannot be pointed at something it should not reach.
- Please only check sites you own or have permission to check. The tool makes a real request to a real server on your instruction.
- No AI model is involved. The check reads the page with ordinary parsing code. Your website's content is not sent to ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini or any other model, and no part of it is used for training.
AI, and what we do not do with your data
We sell AI visibility for a living, so it would be strange not to say plainly how AI touches this site.
We do not train AI on you
Nothing you enter into this site, send us by email, or tell us on a call is used to train, fine-tune or improve any AI model. We do not sell or hand your information to anyone who does that either. The free check runs on parsing code and calls no AI service at all.
We deliberately let AI crawlers read our own pages
Our robots.txt gives GPTBot, OAI-SearchBot, ClaudeBot, PerplexityBot, Google-Extended, Applebot-Extended and others explicit permission to read this site, and we publish an llms.txt summarising it for them. That is our own marketing content, published on purpose so AI tools can quote it. It is not your information, and it is a separate thing from anything you send us.
How we use AI in our own work
We use AI tools as part of building websites, drafting content and doing research, in the same way we use any other software. A person reviews what goes out. Where we handle information belonging to a client or a prospect, we do not paste it into public AI tools.
What AI engines do with your data is not ours to promise
If you go on to ask ChatGPT or Perplexity about your own business, that conversation is between you and them under their terms, not ours. We have no visibility into it and cannot control it.
Outside companies involved
This is the complete list. There is no advertising network, data broker or third-party analytics provider on this site, and the fonts are served from our own domain rather than a font host.
Cloudflare
Serves this website, runs the code behind the AI visibility check, and holds the two small logs described above: the addresses checked, and our anonymous count of page views and button presses. Processes IP addresses and request data to deliver pages and block attacks, and may set strictly necessary security cookies.
GoHighLevel
Provides the calendar widget on the contact, booking and chiropractic pages, served from link.themarketingblock.com. Receives your name, email, phone and time zone when you book, and sets its own cookies inside that widget. It is also where details you hand over at the end of the AI visibility check will land once that submission goes direct, as described under Changes below.
Each of these companies handles data under its own privacy policy. We use them because they do a job this site needs, not to gather anything about you.
Phone calls, texts and email
We ask for a phone number in two places: the booking calendar, and the optional handover at the end of the AI visibility check. Both are optional and you can talk to us without giving one.
If you do give us your number, we use it to reply to you about the thing you contacted us about. That is it. We do not run automated marketing text blasts, we do not add you to a texting list because you booked a call, and we never sell or pass your number to another company for their marketing.
If we ever text you
- Agreeing to marketing texts is never a condition of buying anything from us. You can be a client and receive no marketing messages at all.
- Reply STOP to any message to opt out. Under Florida law we have 15 days to action that, and in practice it is immediate.
- Reply HELP for help, or just call (727) 800-1719.
- Message and data rates may apply, depending on your carrier and plan.
- Message frequency varies. There is no recurring campaign, so in practice messages are occasional and tied to a conversation you started.
We send email to reply to you and, if you ask for it, to send things you requested. Marketing email carries an unsubscribe link and a real postal contact, as US law requires. Telling Mike to stop works just as well as clicking the link.
Recording
We do not record phone calls. Florida requires all parties to consent to a recording, so if that ever changed you would be asked first, on the call, before anything was recorded.
How long anything is kept
- AI visibility check results: 15 minutes in cache, then gone.
- Emails you send us: kept as business records for as long as we may need them, and deleted on request.
- Booking details: held in GoHighLevel while the account is active, and deleted on request.
- Server and security logs: held by Cloudflare under their retention schedule, not by us.
- Addresses entered into the check: 12 months, then deleted.
- Our anonymous count of page views and button presses: 12 months, then deleted.
- Details handed over at the end of the check, once that goes direct: held in GoHighLevel while the account is active, and deleted on request.
Your rights
Different places give people different legal rights over their data. Rather than work out which set applies to you, we offer all of it to everybody. Whoever you are and wherever you live, you can ask us to:
- tell you what personal information we hold about you
- correct anything that is wrong
- delete what we hold
- send you a copy of it
- stop emailing or calling you
Email [email protected] and Mike will deal with it within 30 days. We will not charge you, and we will not treat you differently for asking.
We do not sell or share your personal information for money or for anything else of value, and we never have. There is nothing here for you to opt out of, because there is no sale to opt out of.
Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
California law asks websites to say how they respond to Do Not Track signals, so here it is. This site does not track you across other websites, runs no advertising and no third-party analytics, and builds no profile of you. The one thing it does count, our own anonymous tally of page views and button presses, is switched off when your browser sends either signal, so you are not counted at all. Third parties named above respond to those signals under their own policies, which we do not control.
Security, children and where data goes
The site is served over HTTPS. We never ask for card details, bank details or government identification on this website, we run no third-party analytics, and we build no profile of you, so there is very little sitting anywhere to be lost. That said, no method of transmitting or storing data is perfectly secure, and we are not going to claim otherwise.
This site is aimed at business owners. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has sent us something, email us and we will delete it.
We are based in the United States and the companies above process data in the United States. If you are visiting from elsewhere, your information is handled there.
Changes to this policy
If what we do changes, this page changes with it, and the effective date at the top moves. One change is close enough now to name properly rather than mention quietly later.
- A direct handover instead of an email draft. The button at the end of the check will submit your name, email and optional phone straight into GoHighLevel, rather than opening your own email app. You would still be choosing to send it, and it would still only be used to reply to you about your report.
This is not live today. On the day it goes live, this page will describe it in the present tense, in the sections above, rather than here.
Since the previous version of this page, dated 1 September 2026: the log of addresses checked went live, the fonts moved onto our own domain so no font host sees a page load any more, and we started the anonymous count described under "When you just read a page".
